Life update

It’s been requested of me to update my blog for all you faithful readers out there.  I would like to apologize for the lack of activity on here recently but, I have been extremely busy and exhausted and just really haven’t had time to breathe the past week. In case you didn’t hear… I have a real job. I know I know, hard to believe that I somehow managed to snag one but by some miracle of God I did. You’re now reading a blog written by the newest Local Life section editor and columnist for the Chronicle Independent newspaper (hold your applause).  I hope that’s a valid enough reason for you as to why the blog has been somewhat dead the past week but I myself feel sort of dead too. I don’t think I’ve ever been so tired in my life. But I am loving every single moment of it. Besides the whole waking up before noon thing. Can’t say I’m a huge fan of that. And the fact that I feel like a 90 year old because I’m in bed by 10 every night. Other than that though, it’s great. I’ll try to update more as soon as the week is over so bear with me.  And keep your fingers crossed I don’t screw this up… Kidding… Sort of.

Close your eyes and clone yourself
Build your heart and army
To defend your innocence
While you do everything wrong

Don’t be scared to walk alone
Don’t be scared to like it
There’s no time that you must be home
So sleep where your darkness falls

Alive in the age of worry
Smile in the age of worry
Go wild in the age of worry
And sing worry, why should I care?

No your fight is not within
Yours is with your timing
Dream your dreams but don’t pretend
Be friends with what you are
Give your heart then change your mind
You’re allowed to do it
‘Cause God knows it’s been done to you
And somehow you got through it

Alive in the age of worry
Rage in the age of worry
Sing out in the age of worry
And sing worry, why should I care?

Rage in the age of worry
Act your age in the age of worry
And sing worry, get out of here!
